- 1 piece whole chicken piece (about 500g)
- 50 g plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 piece garlic clove minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- 15 ml lemon juice fresh
- 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper ground

- Preheat the rotisserie or oven to 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit).
- In a bowl, combine plain yogurt, curry powder, minced garlic cloves, grated fresh ginger, fresh lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and ground black pepper to make the marinade.
- Pat the whole chicken piece dry with paper towels.
- Rub the marinade all over the chicken, making sure to coat it evenly inside and out.
- Let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator, preferably 4 hours for better flavor.
- Place the marinated chicken on the rotisserie spit or in a roasting pan if using an oven.
- Cook the chicken on the rotisserie or roast in the oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75 degrees Celsius (165 degrees Fahrenheit) and the skin is golden and crispy.
- Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
