- 100 g yellow onion sliced
- 1 piece garlic clove minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper ground
- 0.25 teaspoon dried thyme
- 50 ml water

- Slice the yellow onion into thin rings and set aside.
- Mince one garlic clove finely.
- Rub the pork shoulder roast with olive oil evenly on all sides.
- Season the pork roast with salt, ground black pepper, and dried thyme.
