  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with butter and lightly dust with flour.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
  4. Add the large eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
