- 1 piece large egg
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 30 ml milk whole

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
- Add the light brown sugar to the melted butter and stir until the mixture is smooth and caramelized.
- For the butter and sugar mixture into the bottom of a small cake pan, spreading evenly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk the large egg with granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and whole milk to the egg mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- For the batter over the butter and sugar mixture in the cake pan, spreading evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Run a knife around the edges of the cake to loosen it from the pan.
- Place a serving plate over the cake pan and carefully invert the cake onto the plate.
