- 100 g onion diced
- 80 g tomato pureed
- 10 g ginger garlic paste
- 15 ml vegetable oil
- 30 g plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander seeds
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
- 0.25 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 0.5 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 0.75 teaspoon salt
- 100 ml water
- 5 g fresh cilantro chopped

- Heat vegetable oil in a heavy pan over medium heat.
- Add diced onions and cook until golden brown, about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add pureed tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes until oil separates from the mixture.
- Mix in red chili powder, ground coriander seeds, ground cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Cook the spices with the tomato mixture for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add skinless chicken thigh pieces and stir well to coat with the spice mixture.
- Cook chicken for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add plain yogurt and mix thoroughly to combine.

- Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 20 minutes until chicken is cooked and gravy thickens.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder and stir gently.
